Leadership: Our Most Important Function

Our Kiwanis club is committed to developing the next generation of servant leaders. We proudly sponsor four Key Clubs, a Builders Club, and a K-Kids program—each designed to teach young people the values of service, responsibility, and leadership at every stage of their growth. Through hands-on projects, teamwork, and real opportunities to lead, these students learn how to inspire others, make meaningful change, and carry the spirit of service into their adult lives. By investing in youth leadership today, we help shape stronger communities tomorrow.

Service Projects for Key Club Members

Key Club, Builders' Club and K-Kids members frequently participate in service events held by our Club. The following are links to those events:

Key Clubs

Key Club is the world’s largest high school service organization, empowering teens to lead through service. Members plan and carry out meaningful service projects, develop leadership skills, and learn how to make a positive impact in their schools and communities. With Kiwanis guidance, Key Clubbers discover their ability to inspire others and become confident, compassionate leaders. We sponsor Key Clubs in Hagerty, Oviedo, Winter Springs and Lake Howell High Schools.

Builders Club

Builders Club introduces middle school students to the power of teamwork, responsibility, and community service. Guided by Kiwanis advisors, members take on age-appropriate service projects while learning practical leadership skills. It’s a fun, supportive environment where young teens explore what it means to lead by example We sponsor one Builders Club at Trinity Prep School.

K-Kids

K-Kids gives elementary students their first experience in organized service and leadership. Through simple, hands-on projects, members learn kindness, cooperation, and the joy of helping others. With Kiwanis support, K-Kids builds character and confidence at a formative age, planting the seeds of lifelong service. We sponsor one K-Kids.
